The Bureau of Police & Security's mission is the enforcement of environmental laws and regulations, which affect the health and safety of the public and environment. 


Assigned to the Right to Know Unit, the selected candidate will provide assistance to the Inspection Unit Supervisor; schedule inspections using a computerize program; make appointments with facility owners for inspections and provide information regarding the inspection process.  The candidate will also review inspection reports for inaccuracies; enter chemical inventory in our Tier II system and assist with general office work.    


This is a paid position.    


  • Student must currently be enrolled at a college/university at the undergraduate level.
  • Student must have at least a 2.5GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Student must have at least a junior class standing 


Selection Criteria:

  • Strong writing skills; effective interpersonal skills; familiarity and/or experience with computers/software; leadership skills; self-motivation; and ability to work well with minimal supervision.
