The intern will work on pre-DEP Employee Satisfaction Survey activities in preparation for implementation of a survey in the Fall of 2018. These activities will include, but not be limited to, contributing to the development of the Survey and implementation plan, participating in analysis of prior DEP survey results to identify preferred questions for the new survey, supporting employee focus group workshops to vet potential questions, developing communications and materials that will be used to describe investments made to address issues that were identified in prior surveys, designing communications to build employee’s interest in participating in the new survey at all levels of the organization, planning the logistics of survey implementations and presenting demographic information relevant to planning survey logistics. The intern will experience a myriad of organizational approaches and best practices that require investment prior to implementing an employee satisfaction survey successfully.
Preferred Qualities: Good written and verbal communication skills, familiarity with statistical analysis, presentation of graphs and charts, basic research methods, detailed-oriented, ability to work effectively as a member of a team and interest in employee engagement and organizational development.
